Fall Break

Guys fall break is coming up and I am so so so excited to go home. I miss doing nothing and just hanging out with my puppy dogs plus I miss my fam jam alot (too bad I am not seeing all of them this break)
But as I am sitting here wasting time in the AOII study hall room (hence no pictures, because im not on my laptop) I have decided what I think I am going to do during fall break. One go through my clothes and figure out what needs to go before Christmas and take it to plato’s closet. And next (my best idea yet) I am going to try to bake some new things because I will be home and my mom will have all the stuff already and I will not have to buy it!

Roll Tide!

What are you going to do over fall break, or what did you do over fall break!?

The One Hundred: 37 Havaianas

For awhile there I did not wear simple shoes, like flip-flops, then I found Havaianas.

The best flip-flops that I own! (and of course I got them at a really good price!) I love the comfort and the very simple design of the school! These lovely flip-flops came from the wonderful country of Brazil where everyone from poor to dignity were wearing them. Then soon the lovely Jean Paul Gaultier, in 2002, sent 50 models down the runway in these amazing havaiansa, and people went crazy over them! I, myself know how amazing these shoes are that sometimes I just want to wear them everyday with everything!

Here are some examples, as you can see I even included using them for dorm life….. you will love them for that…. but you may want more than one pair then.
Now here is how the original Havaianas came to life! The idea and design of these flip-flops came from the Zori, a Japanese straw sandal original  worn with kimonos. In 1962, Alpargatas came up with a rubber version, making them better for Brazil’s climate.  Soon they reached the rest of the world either through someone else’s suitcase or the company exporting them!

So are you ready for you Havaianas!
